Rotary’s annual charity Fireworks on the Rec, in the heart of Bath, will take place this year on Saturday 1st November, with gates opening at 4.30pm and the display starting at 6.00pm.

The Fireworks have become an annual tradition in the City, attracting thousands of people to the Rec and into the Bath Rugby Stadium to see what many describe as the best fireworks display in the West of England.
A variety of refreshments will be on sale from 4.30pm, both inside the stadium and from the open grass area of the Rec.
All funds raised will go to Rotary’s chosen local charitable organisations, which this year are Bath Community Kitchen, Bath Rugby Foundation, the Venue 4 community theatre project at Theatre Royal and the Glasshouse Academy.
The professional display – run by the same company which organises fireworks for Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift – is managed by volunteers from the Rotary Club, with support from Bath Rugby, the Students Union at the University of Bath and Buko Traffic & Safety who help with road closures.
This year’s sponsors are Bath Recreation Ltd and M J Church.
