Local award-winning charitable organisation, Bath Community Kitchen, recently hosted a morning session for the Rotary Club of Bath. A special “Rotarians can Cook” session was held at the Cookery Studio, Shires Yard, in Milsom Street.
Ten Rotarians and Rotary friends spent a morning preparing a meal of carrot and red lentil soup, veggie chilli with rice and guacamole, sour cream, and salsa, and making some fresh tortillas.
Great fun was reported by all the attendees, while the resulting meal was judged delicious.

As well as being a great event itself, and the chance for several of the attendees to learn new food preparation skills, the session gave an insight into the BCK mission: using the preparation of meals together as a powerful means to bring people together and help rebuild confidence.
